Internal Bra® MAGAZINE
Don Revis, MD, FACS

The Internal Bra® Magazine is a patient-driven digital publication created to give real people a place to share their stories—in their own words—about confidence, wellness, and modern breast augmentation. This is where the story behind the decision lives. Every feature you read here is someone choosing to speak openly about a deeply personal chapter of their life—what led them here, how the experience has shaped them, and what they’re stepping into next. These stories matter because they create space for honesty, understanding, and connection in a conversation that’s often kept quiet. If this story resonated with you, one of the most meaningful ways to support the person who shared it is to share this article with your friends, family, or social network. When these stories travel, they help normalize real conversations around body autonomy, confidence, and personal choice. Thanks for reading—and for helping these stories reach the people who might need to hear them.

Featured Article Interview
Thanks for taking the time to sit with us today. Before we share your announcement, we’d love to ground this conversation in your story. Can you reflect on the journey that’s led you to this moment and how your work or goals have evolved since your last major milestone?
I appreciate you taking the time to dive into this with me. My story hasn't been linear. There were years of hustle, self-doubt, and proving myself in a competitive industry. That last major milestone surrounded overcoming a challenging business pivot and coming out stronger; it sparked a profound shift in how I view success. I started prioritizing holistic growth: mental health, physical well-being, and unapologetic self-acceptance. My goals have evolved from simply scaling my business, I have a great focus on building something that inspires women to embrace every version of themselves. This moment represents that full-circle commitment to living the transformation I preach.
Since you’re here to share an update or milestone today, how has your experience with surgery continued to shape your work or your sense of confidence over time? What feels most different now compared to earlier stages of your journey?
Over time, the experience has deepened my confidence in a lasting way. It’s given me a renewed sense of ownership over my body and my brand. I’m more comfortable being visible in videos, photos, and on stage, which has expanded my reach and authenticity in my work. Compared to earlier stages, when I often felt disconnected from my own image, I now operate from a place of wholeness. This shift has made my goals feel more attainable and my message more powerful, encouraging others that true confidence comes from aligning how you feel with how you present yourself
How has this experience continued to unfold for you over time in ways you might not have expected? Are there moments or changes in your career or personal life that you now trace back to this decision?
This experience has unfolded in beautiful, unexpected ways. I anticipated greater confidence, but I didn’t expect how it would unlock new levels of creativity and visibility in my work. Opportunities for speaking engagements, collaborations, and brand partnerships started flowing more naturally. In my personal life, I’ve become more present and open in relationships. I now trace bolder career decisions and even my improved work-life balance back to this choice. It gave me permission to stop hiding and fully step into the next version of myself.
Over time, what kinds of intentional choices have you made about how you present yourself and your story publicly? How have those choices evolved as you’ve grown more confident in who you are and what you want your work to represent?
I’ve made deliberate choices to shift from hiding behind my work to embodying it. Previously, I kept personal updates minimal. As confidence increased, I began sharing transformative experiences more openly while still maintaining boundaries. Today, I intentionally highlight growth, resilience, and self-celebration in my content. This evolution reflects what I want my brand to stand for: authentic success that includes personal fulfillment. Greater self-assurance has allowed me to show up more fully, making my public presence feel aligned and magnetic

As you move into this next phase, what’s something new about your journey or your perspective that feels meaningful to share with readers at this point?
As I step into this next phase, what feels most meaningful to share is that true confidence compounds. This journey has taught me that investing in yourself isn’t vain, it’s foundational. The new perspective I carry is that personal alignment creates powerful momentum in business and life. I’m now more committed than ever to building a brand that doesn’t just sell products or services, but also gives women permission to prioritize their own glow-up — inside and out. This chapter is about expansion with intention.
Since your last feature, have there been any reactions from your audience that surprised you or made you reflect differently on the impact your story has on others?
I received so many responses of fans telling me they loved my content because of how personable I was and how confidently I could share my journey. All these positive interactions truly made me reflect on my confidence and self-esteem, I had came to the conclusion that regardless of how I looked in my content before my surgery, I remember how I felt in my own body, and I didn't feel as confident as I do now. Now I know for certain this is the body I wanted for myself regardless of anyone else's opinions or what society dictates.
As you imagine where you might be in five years, what do you hope your work, your platform, and your sense of self will reflect about the journey you’re on now?
Looking five years ahead, I hope my work reflects continued expansion and leadership rooted in self-love. I want my platform to celebrate not just professional wins, but the personal courage it takes to become who you truly want to be. Above all, I hope my sense of self shows quiet certainty and joy. This chapter of growth is laying the foundation for a future where I’m leading with confidence, creating freely, and helping other women feel empowered to do the same.
Well, it’s been great spending this time together today. As we close, what insights or advice would you share with others who may be earlier in their journey, what misconceptions would you challenge, and how can people stay connected with your work?
If you’re earlier on this path, remember: your happiness and confidence are worth the investment. Don’t shrink to make others comfortable. I’d challenge the idea that wanting to feel better in your body means you’re superficial. It’s often the opposite—you’re finally choosing yourself. Stay connected with me on Instagram @bimbokityy where I post regularly about personal growth, business, and life after this transformation. I can’t wait to see your journey unfold too.
