I wanted to thank you for being a client and taking the time to share your story with your friends, family and network.

We’ve all seen the iconic “before and after” images that often represent transformation. But what we rarely hear is the story behind those images — what they meant at the time, what led to the decision to make a change, and how that moment shaped someone’s life afterward.

In this conversation, we sit down with patients of Dr. Don Revis to talk about the journey behind the photos — in their own words.

This is a simple six question interview. Simply choose a question from each section, responding as though you and I are having a conversation. Use full paragraphs to share details of your story. Today, we wanted to sit with you to hear about that journey from you. Before we get started, can you share with our readers a little bit about you and your background?

We wanted to slow down and talk about the journey those photos represent. To begin, can you tell our readers a little about yourself and your background?

We really appreciate you taking the time to sit down with us today. While people often focus on before and after photos, the real story is what those moments represent in someone’s life. Before we dive into the journey itself, could you share a little bit about who you are and what your background looks like?

Thank you so much for joining us for this conversation. The world often sees transformation through before and after images, but the deeper story is the experience behind those images. Before we explore that journey, tell our readers a little about yourself and where you come from.

We’re grateful you’re taking the time to share your story with us today. Before and after photos can say a lot visually, but they rarely tell the full story of the person behind them. To begin, could you introduce yourself and share a little about your personal background?

Well, let’s dive in. As we look at these before photos, tell us about the person we’re seeing here. Where were you in your life at that time? What was your mindset like, and what stage of your personal journey were you in?

Let’s talk about the beginning of the story. Looking back at these before photos, who was this version of you? What was happening in your life at that time, and how were you feeling personally?

As we look at these earlier photos, it’s interesting to think about the person they represent. Can you walk us through where you were in life during that moment and what your mindset or outlook was like at that time?

Let’s start with the “before.” When you see these photos now, what do you remember about that version of yourself? Where were you emotionally and personally during that period of your life?

Looking at these photos from earlier in your journey, tell us about that moment in your life. Who was this person, and what were you experiencing or feeling at the time?

As we begin with the “before,” help us understand the person in these photos. Where were you in your life journey at that moment, and what was going through your mind during that time?

This is an often overlooked question, but where do you see yourself if life had not changed for you? If things had stayed on the same path, where do you think you might be today?

It’s interesting to reflect on how different choices shape our lives. If your journey had not taken the turn it did, where do you think you might be today?

Sometimes we don’t think about the road not taken. Looking back now, where do you believe your life might have gone if things had stayed exactly as they were?

If your life had continued on the same trajectory without this change, how do you imagine things might look for you today?

When you reflect on that period in your life, do you ever think about where you might be now if things hadn’t shifted in the way they did?

Looking back, if nothing had changed and life had continued along that earlier path, where do you think you would be today?

Now before we dive into the “after,” tell us about the moment things began to shift. What led to the decision to make a change? Was there a specific moment, a conversation, or a series of experiences that gave you the confidence to move forward?

Before we talk about the transformation, let’s talk about the decision. What ultimately led you to make a change? Was there a defining moment that helped you realize it was time?

Every transformation usually begins with a turning point. Can you share what led you to that moment of deciding to move forward?

What was the catalyst for change in your life? Was there a moment or realization that helped you feel confident about taking the next step?

Often there’s a defining moment when someone realizes they’re ready to take action. What was that moment like for you?
